Role Summary/Purpose: This Airframe Integration Leader will support the GE Engineering team in execution of the NPI program and work across regions and functions globally. The Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements,
  • Lead business initiatives in design, materials, manufacturing, quality and/or productivity,
  • Define and develop product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivity,
  • Identify need for technical and program reviews within the organization,
  • Lead technical reviews and participate as a reviewer,
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate,
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures,
  • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and contract commitments,
  • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or equivalent in knowledge/experience),
  • Strong experience in an engineering position.
