Role Summary/Purpose: The Thermodynamics Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Execute thermodynamics analysis of turboprop engine, with guidance from senior engineering resources
  • Perform/support engine thermodynamics cycle calculation for three main domains: Serial engine manufacturing support, providing performance analysis for derivative engines and NPI programmes
  • Cooperate with Product Engineering Center team (Stress&Life Analysis, Turbomachinery Engineering, Materials Engineering)
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering specialized in Aerospace preferable
  • Advanced knowledge of programming C++, Matlab, Simulink
  • Knowledge of engine thermodynamics cycle
  • Basic knowledge of turbine (turboprop) engines principles
  • Proficiency in English

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
